Spring Atlas Stationers Haul

I recently took a trip to Chicago, and while I didn’t have a ton of time, I made sure to stop by Atlas Stationers in the Loop. It’s one of the best stationery stores in the U.S., and since I’ve only ever shopped online, finally seeing it in person had been on my list for a while. It definitely lived up to the hype.

What I Picked Up

A mix of inks, tools, and small stationery goodies that I know will make their way into my everyday setup.

Inks

I was especially on the hunt for something close to Diamine Writer’s Blood Ink, but Atlas Stationers was out of stock so I was able to compare other swatches to find something close and these are the inks I landed on.

Here is a quick look at everything I picked up, watch the haul!

Tools

Journal Goods and stationery

Washi Tape!

This is first time buying decorative washi tape and now I get the hype! I think these floral designs are lovely and I can’t wait to use these in my journals.

Where It All Fits In

Most of these will end up in my daily rotation, whether that’s journaling, planning, or sketching. Some are practical, and some are just for fun (like the stamps and washi), but all of them add something to my creative routine.

We live in an age of online shopping, but being able to shop in person is hands down my favorite experience. The shop itself is bright, and the Atlas staff are kind and helpful, whether you’re looking for something specific or just browsing. Seeing everything in person just hits differently.

Especially when it comes to inks, being able to flip through the Atlas Stationer’s swatch books and see the fountain pen ink colors on paper makes a huge difference.

If you ever get the chance to visit Atlas Stationers, it’s absolutely worth it. Take your time, look around, and let yourself discover things you didn’t plan on picking up, I’m sorry in advance for your bank account 😅.

If you have a favorite fountain pen ink or a go-to stationery shop in your city, drop it below, I’m always looking for recommendations when I travel!
